Four years ago, the Chinese government banned the use of colistin as a growth promoter. From today (July 1, 2020), feed production enterprises in China will cease to produce commercial feed containing growth-promoting drug feed additives. 

It is understood that the global annual consumption of Antibiotic Growth Promoters (AGPs) in animal feed, resulted in bacterial resistance and drug residues and many other problems.
